What SimpleFax does
SimpleFax lets you send a fax over the internet without installing software or opening a subscription. You upload your document, enter the recipient’s fax number and your contact details, pay a single flat fee, and we transmit the fax through our carrier partners. Payment is handled by Stripe; we do not store your card number.
Before you start
- Files: Use PDF, JPG, or PNG. You can add more than one file; the service is designed for up to 25 pages total per paid send.
- Recipient number: Enter a 10-digit US fax number in the form (the same style as a US phone number).
- Your email: Used for Stripe receipt and sending you status or confirmation—treat it as the address you want tied to this send.
- Optional cover note: You can add a short message for the cover page if the form includes that field.
Step-by-step
- Open the send form from the home page (Send a Fax) and upload your file(s). Drag-and-drop or click to browse. Images are converted to PDF for faxing.
- Enter the fax number and your name. Double-check digits—wrong numbers can cause failed delivery.
- Enter your email and any optional cover message, then continue to payment.
- Pay $3.99 using the Stripe payment form. When the charge succeeds, your job is queued for transmission.
- Confirmation. You are redirected to a success page with a reference to your payment. Keep that if you need support or a refund per our refund policy.
Pricing and limits
Each transmission is $3.99 for up to 25 pages in one job. Need more pages? Start a second send for the remainder. There are no monthly plans—only per-fax payment.
Privacy and data handling
We built SimpleFax around minimal retention: documents are used to send your fax and are not kept for marketing. Details are in our privacy policy. Third parties involved typically include Stripe (payments) and our fax and email providers as described there.
If something goes wrong
If a fax fails to send, our refund policy explains how refunds work. For billing issues, it often helps to have your Stripe receipt. For delivery problems, include the recipient number and time of send when you contact support.
Legal and policies
Use of the site is governed by our terms of service. Do not use SimpleFax for unlawful, harassing, or abusive content; you are responsible for the material you transmit.
